Second half of my first order from Zeta. Once again, I must express how very pleased I was with the quality of these toys.
Pocket Pal
Ordering - 8/10The storefront is fairly simple to navigate. The toys are organized well, so it's easy to find whatever it is you might be looking for. Prices are reasonable, and there are products available for every budget.
However, the one major complaint that I have is the lack of pictures! Most of the toys are only shown from one angle, and lack any type of size reference. Size and shape is very important when you're trying to decide which toys to order. There are some measurements that give you an idea of what you're getting. It's helpful, but a few pictures of the toy next to some familiar object (soda can/bottle, human hand, etc) would be more helpful, in my opinion.
In the end, I ended up ordering a Mr. Pluggit (Black, Medium) for myself, and a Pocket Pal (Blue, Medium) for my lady friend (more on that in a bit)
Price - 10/10This toy costs $7. That makes it officially cheaper than dirt.
Shipping - 10/10As I expressed in my other review, I was pleasantly surprised when they toy arrived two weeks (to the day!) after I ordered it. Very happy on that note, much faster than expected.
First Impressions - 9/10The package arrived in the form of a USPS Priority Mail box. You know the one, mostly white with red trim and that blue USPS logo tape all over it. The outer packaging made no mention of anything that might hint at its contents. Very discreet, as expected.
- (Paranoia Warning: As promised in the Terms and Conditions, the return address is listed as "Judd Killam". This is more discreet than "ZetaCreations", but it's not foolproof. For those of us with extremely nosy housemates, this name can very easily be traced back to ZetaPaws with a simple Google query. Thankfully, this was not a problem in my case.)
I opened the box, and inside I found two plastic bags and a note entitled "Use and care of your product". It listed some lube recommendations, cleaning/sanitation instructions, and how to avoid your toys interacting with other materials. Quite handy.
After unsealing the plastic bags, the toys were covered in baby powder to keep them from sticking to the bag. It cleaned up very easily with soap and water.
The Pocket Pal is not very large at all. It is, after all, a beginner's training toy. The tip starts out about as wide as a finger or so, and widens to be about as wide as two fingers (see below).
The Medium-firmness silicone is firm, but with a good amount of "squishiness". This toy in particular has a smooth, glossy finish that differs from Mr. Pluggit. I don't think it affects the performance at all, but it seems to get lint stuck to it more easily.
Toy in Use - 9/10Though I originally bought this toy for someone else, circumstances changed, and I ended up getting to keep it. More for me!
After cleaning the toy and myself, I bent over and started pushing! The Pocket Pal was soft, but still firm enough to go in easily without bending. It was a smooth filling sensation. I'd push in as far as I could comfortably go, back off a little bit, and repeat, thrusting a little deeper each time. The softness of the silicone gave it a bit of leeway and kept it from becoming uncomfortable or feeling like I was "forcing" it in. Once I had the Pocket Pal fully inserted, it was very comfortable. It gently reminded me that it was still back there, but I wasn't feeling overstuffed.
Overall, though it didn't take me long to accommodate the whole toy (I'm not exactly a beginner anymore) it was a great way to stretch out in preparation for other play. When using my fingers alone to stretch out, I find there's an awkward stage where you can fit one finger in but can't quite manage two that can be uncomfortable and frustrating. This toy neatly bridges that gap, allowing me to comfortably (and safely!) stretch my muscles before using other toys.
I didn't try masturbating with it in. I'm sure it could be loads of fun, but bear in mind that its shape doesn't do a whole lot to prevent being forced out during muscle contractions. Also, it doesn't offer much in the way of prostate stimulation, so I chose to rely on another toy to provide that.
My only regret about owning this toy is that I didn't order a larger trainer instead. Given the circumstances, it was unavoidable. For the price, I'm not too worried about it.
Overall - 9/10This toy is exactly what it says on the box: a training toy. It's a very handy tool for beginners and intermediates, and could potentially be fun as a standalone masturbatory aid. I recommend grabbing one. The price won't set you back, and it really is a handy little fella.
More experienced players may be able to skip this one and start out with a slightly larger toy (maybe a Large Torpedo?), however.
