I have considerd it alot over hte years, but the economic slow down has really hit me hard here, and being backed up hasnt helped anything at all.
I know I sound like I might be whining, but I am not.

I know there are ALOT of folks out there who are much worse off than I.

we are looking into adding a few folks here and there to help with customer service, and some paperwork, so that will free me up to get more toys done faster.

LOL.  As if anyone needed the "-Darth Vader StarWars A New Hope" to figure it out.  =)

I have never sat through a single movie of star wars.

    Deal With It

  • Collect three $5 discount cards (doesn't have to be all at once). Choose the soft option for any toy.

    You and me both.

I think I much preferred Star Trek and only the season with Picard.

only star trek incarnation i didnt like was enterprize with the guy that played in quantum leap *looks up the name* scott bakula. but i agree, Patrick Stewart made the series the best.

Ahem; I have several years of customer service experience, from working for online games to working for stock broker services, and presently the only thing taking up my time is my college classes; so I have free time during the week to help with support tickets; etc. So if the Zeta crew really needs help there, then sign me up! I'm angry as all hell that the website says 2 to 10 weeks and that every reply I've gotten about my order has been "I'll make it within X time, no really I will." I wouldn't be angry at all if I had been told upfront and honestly about delays and wait times; but I had to go to the forums to find all that out! To hear Bear talk about it, it seems like he gets three or four orders a week and just makes them as he can and oops, mine just seemed to slip through a crack somewhere, but he'll get it to me tomorrow or by the end of the week or as soon as he can. I ordered in May hoping to have my first toy before a convention in September, and now I'm starting to feel as if I'd be happy to get my toy before Christmas!

So if there's anything, anything at all I can do to expedite the process, then let me know! As for production issues, I don't think distance should matter so much... Bear could sign up four volunteers to cast around the US, have them sign non-disclosure agreements, send them copies of his molds and show them how to use 'em, and then have each one ship to people in their own section of the US while Bear oversees and handles international orders. The result would be a much faster system, able to handle a much greater amount of orders.
