    That sometimes happens to me too, but at least silicone can be compressed with strips of plastic wrap tightly wrapped around the knot, then covered with a condom or toy cover.

    And that 2" thick shaft on Akita is pretty long (nearly 5").  You can get a pretty nice ride from that alone, if the knot takes longer for you to manage than you think it might.
