I am thinking of getting for my bf as a surprise present. However I am unable to decide if I should buy the adapter. He's not well endowed, in fact he's pretty average to a T. 5.5 to 6 inches long and a diameter of 1.75, give or take.

So to those who own this toy, would you recommend the adapter? Or do you think he'd be fine without it?

I'd get the adapter, worse case you don't need it. Like x_panther said, the tip goes floppy and it's hard to get in and use.
