I haven't seen this anywhere, but what are the differences between the gel and silicon toys, with regard to:

    1) squishiness/flex - I like it a bit firm, but squishy
    2) Smoothness
    3) Realistic coloring and/or reddish and slightly seethrough.

Trying to determine which is a better material.

I don't see the Ruff's Stuff for sale now. It's the Ruff's Stuff Euro. Which one of the models is like the older ruff's stuff?

    Thanks.

    1) Depends on how well you take care of the gel toy.  The gels will 'sweat' their material out (the sticky substance) and when its gone the toy will become hard vinyl, so pretty much rigid.  With silicone, it'll stay as the firmness you order it in.

    2) Smoothness is dependant on the model.  Silicone picks up every single detail so if the positive mold (the one that looks like a toy) is smooth, the silicone will be.  If the positive was sanded or has some small indents, the toy will have indents.

    3) Silicone cant really be see-thru.  At best it'll be a milky white.  That, and ZC currently only offers a few colors and it doesn't include any transparencies Tongue
Realism, well, that will change on each toy if you order the 'natural coloring' option.  Each toy is poured into a negative mold and that mold isnt transparent so the location of colors has to be guessed on (if it has splotches).  Single colors are easier as its just pour and forget.

Wow, thanks. I think I'll order the Timber. I don't plan on doing anal, but I've wanted something like this for my plushie play.

Is it also safe to put the silicon ones in hot water to warm them up?

    Thanks!

You can put them in a boiling pan if you wish to.
I'd just suggest not letting the bottom touch the pan where the flame would be else it may melt slightly.  Its unlikely, but just precautionary.  That, or just boil a pot of water, turn off the flame and stick it in.
You could also put it in the freezer.

Silicone is very resistant to extreme temps.

Anyone ever try these silicone ones with oral? I'm not much into anal, but oral's really my fix.

Just ordered the Timber one. Looking very much forward to it.

Do the gel ones have that more plasticy feeling? The shininess of the pics I've seen is a big turnon to me, and I drool over thoughts of playing with that.

Will the silicone one have the same feel?

All the gel ones will have a completely texture-free surface (unless there is an airbubble.)
The silicone ones may or may not be texture-free even if you go with the euro toys (non-textured).

Its a much better idea to go with the silicone materail for toys, it will last longer than the gel, and is alot nicer to use overall. These are some of the reasons im dropping gel here in the next few months.

I myself have tried them warm, and its a toally different feel, id recommend it Smiley
Just dont get it too hot.
