Custom color options?

I've kind of asked this in a couple threads, but I figure I'll post an actual thread so maybe I can get more answers, plus maybe when Bear as a chance he can answer directly.  ^_^  What all can be done with custom colors?  I want to have my toys look a bit more unique than just red, black, green, etc.  One of the new toys that will be on the site soon was shown in "Cookies and cream" color.  If I asked, would I be able to get the cookies and cream effect with colors besides white and black?  Same with "natural" coloring. It's often black and white or fleshtone, especially with equine toys.  But, would I be able to get the "natural" color pattern in unnatural colors?  I've got a few ideas and I don't mind waiting extra to get them if need be.  Will still be a while before I can actually order toys.  Gotta save up money first.

Also, how do you go about requesting custom colors during an order?  Maybe I've just not paid enough attention since I can't order yet, but I haven't noticed it as an option on the order page.

Regarding your questions, if you have a specific idea for a toy you can run it by those of us experienced members that know what Bear can and can't do, if anything we can give you sound advice and insight.

Bear has quite a few colors to play with, the thing is the options for ordering toys are reduced so it is easier to make them faster. You can absolutely ask for a custom color and Bear will happily tell you if he has the color or a color similar. As of right now Bear can make about 40 colors in gel and 25 in silicone.

Do you have any color charts so we know roughly what colors can and can't be ordered? Nothing fancy or anything - even a list of colors would be fine. I know you have orders to tend to and I wouldn't want to distract you.

Unfortunately, if we were to show all the possible colors, it would take up roughly 16.7 million pixels... So that can't quite be done.
Instead, find a color you like and send in a support ticket asking for it

There's also some select special colors, like glowing and metallic so you can request those as well... Just say what you want and Bear will let you know if its possible.

Oooo glowing.... Can that be done as a color all its own or does it have to be mixed with a pigment? (Like frost the colorless color, but all glow?) Also, how much extra is the charge for glowing?

Well you can have a toy that is just glow, but it would be the milky color that most glow in the dark things are. And as for charge, it depends, could be just 5-10$ or he may not charge... It's his decision.

A couple questions.  1. Are the glow/metallic colors available for the silicone?  I know they are/were for gel but since I don't really get how the glow and metallic effects work I don't know how they transfer over to silicone, if they do at all.  Wouldn't mind getting toys in those options at one point or another.

How exactly do I order custom colored toys?  There isn't an option for custom on the page where you decide color and firmness.  Do I order the toys and then send a message, or do I send a note first?  Do I use the support ticket option or something else?  I get paid this coming Friday and I'm hoping to order a few toys while they're still on sale, so I want to make sure I know what to do before I send an order.

Send in a ticket before buying to check.  Be sure to give all the possible colors you may want, so that way you dont have to wait for Bear each time if one is not possible.

However, AFAIK metallic and glowing gel colors and such are the same for silicone.

O.O wait a sec.. You can get metallic silicone colors??! No way! Lol even I didn't know that xD Omg greatest color combination ever, glowing metallic swirl. Epic toy.. X3 lol I'll have to think about that whenever I get around to ordering again.

I REALLY want a human toy with a blue-to-green fade from blue bottom to green top. that would be epic. I would gladly shell out an extra sum for it <3
gaaah just thinking about it makes me squirm around D: and I don't mind waiting around, either.

small john wih blue base to green head in medium firmness. that is all I desire.
the green could be more teal, but otherwise I like the current colors.

That's no problem.  I know that things are crazy, so if my order has to be put off for awhile because of the custom colors that's no problem at all for me.
