Maybe this shouldn't be posted on this forum, if so feel free to shut it down, but I recently moved across the country (again) and don't have a lot of friends out here, I was wondering if people knew of any good communities out there. I know not everyone here is a furry, but I feel like a fair amount are and so I feel safe enough to ask. I personally am not (IMO, people could disagree), but I find I share a lot of the same interests as those that do. If this is not a good place to ask, as I said, then people could PM me or at least redirect me to a place where I could then ask this again.

Pacific southwest myself, sadly.
I think there are sites you can go to look for communities and other people and the like, but for the life of me I have forgotten the sites, but then again, I don't use them. (I have no social life so I figure why bother?)

I know Seattle has a good Furry community, not sure what the name of the convention is up there, but they have a good sized one each year, that would be a good place to mingle, and possibly meet people from that area. I'm in SoOre though, so I don't get up that way much..

There really is a huge furry community in Western Washington. I know quite a few in that area but myself am currently in Eastern Washington(although moving west in about 6 months).
What part of the state are you living in?

There are a few furry forums you could check. I myself used to regular them before I moved up to MI - we have a lovely little furry community here. ^_^
I suggest checking out the furtopia.org forums. I haven't been there in ages, but I did meet a few friendly furs from there in person.
