Almost 2,000 Orders

I was looking at my orders history when it hit me: there have been almost 2,000 orders since February this year! That's about 188 orders a month. If that's not insane enough, there are people ordering multiple toys per order, so the number of toys has got to be far more than the number of orders!

With only one worker and an order volume like that, it is no wonder the shipping is slow. Still, it is pretty amazing that one person is making it all work. It almost makes me want to take a mystical journey to the mountains in order to meet the master of dildo-fu with the hopes of someday being an awesome dildo-ninja myself.

All silliness aside, keep up the good work.  We're rooting for you.

problem is bear isnt exactly making it work as you might have read. that many orders and models to fill, plus problems in his personal life etc, are making things incredibly slow. honestly nothing against bear, I for one know how shit can fuck up everything in your life no matter how hard you try to go against it, but I honestly have no clue how hes keeping the company afloat and not going under.. I guess the ability to charge people and not send their stuff out for so long keeps his bills paid or something.. that and the huge demand for toys that only a couple other companies make anything close to, with so few options, people are willing to put up with the hassle in order to get their jollies off, so to speak.

once again, that wasnt meant as an attack or anything so I hope no negative repercussions come of it, especially as I am not a paying member myself at this time, though honestly, the hassle might keep me from becoming one, if I actually came up with the funds.

There are quite the handful of well known furry artists that back log them selves to make ends meet. Some back log up and over a years worth of time. So I think Bear's doing pretty good at mostly heeling up with demand, yes he is backed up, but he can only make toys at a constant rate..

And one more order has just been added.  ^_^  I just sent my order for a few of the smaller toys.  I don't mind waiting however long it takes, but I also kinda hope he's getting caught up enough that they'll be ready by May-ish.  I'm hoping to visit someone in May or June and it would be fun to take my new toys with me.  Hehe.

Hopefully the gel production stopping will help out a lot. Silicone (in my opinion) is the best material anyway, and if it's faster and safer to work with, that's even better! I love all the detail on the Griffin and am looking forward to seeing what the other toys look like up close. High quality workmanship and intricate sculpting makes the long wait very worth it!

I'm still surprised he's working this fast, though!  I've been watching the "orders shipped" list run down and it's amazing.

*nodnod*  I plan to get the Silicone Griffin before too long, so long as I can keep saving up money instead of blowing it all.  XD  I love all the little feather detail at he bottom.  Don't know what I'll get next, though.  Either the Griffin or one of the new feline toys.  ^_^

As I recall, BB resets the order numbers at the beginning of each year. That total number was for the entire year and the numbers start over on January 1st.

Assuming that order numbers start at 1 *or 0001 if they have to be so many digits* then whoever orders the first toy this year will get order number 0001.  Then 0002, 0003, and so on.  I don't know where the numbers actually start, though, but that's the idea.

But, you're right about the daily total orders; getting 20 to 30 a day isn't uncommon for BB. You figure, 3,000 orders for a year, divided by the days in the year comes out to a minimum of 10 orders a day.
