What happened to the ROO toy?

I remember you guys when you were still ZetaCreations, my friend had one of your red kangaroo toys... felt really nice due to the interesting curvature and the tip hitting the prostate, do you not make this particular toy anymore and why not???

It was a gel model, gels are currently discontinued, however plans are to bring it back out in silicone at some point in time.

I really want a roo type toy, thought about getting Bad Dragon's "wallaby,"
but I'm not sure if it would be anything at all like the roo you used to have.

There's no way to know for sure when Bear will have the time to get the Roo updated to Silicone.  He's got a lot of orders to get caught up on first.  But, I wouldn't get from Bad Dragon if only because they don't deserve the money.  The people who run that company aren't very nice people and really shouldn't be supported until they learn to be a bit more respectful to their customers.

Actually I have ordered a toy from them and they were very kind and respectful to me. some people might have been treated unkindly, I cant say for sure, but there are many people who have ordered from them and had positive experiences.

The people who were treated unkindly were mostly on the forums and most deserved it for the behavior.

They're working on the issues, getting new mods and everything. However I have noticed the quality of some of the toys going down the crapper.... :/ Prolly trying to rush too much with the sales.

I've never actually ordered from them, but I think that ONE of their toys is VERY beautiful. Just a shame it only ones in one size and that size is WAYYYYY too big for me.

I don't know.  I don't think I deserved to be told it was my own damned fault I didn't get a toy I wanted, because "It was around for long enough if you wanted it so badly you would have bought it!"  Yeah, I'm glad to know that the know my financial situation better than I do and they know how much money I have to spend on what and when.  I'm also glad to know they expect me to buy a toy from a company I don't know exists.  I knew nothing about BD for most of the time the toy I wanted was around, so I didn't have near as long as they tried to tell me I did to buy it.

If all you're doing is ordering a toy then they seem fine.  Stuff gets out quickly and such.  But if you have to actually interact with them, good luck.  Their main customer service rep is a jerk, and the staff doesn't listen to any suggestions that won't earn them big bucks.  Have any negative feedback on a toy or think a toy could be improved somehow?  Oh well, you're wrong.  They think things are just fine and their opinion is all that matters.

As for the quality of the toys, they make them more and more boring with every update to the designs.  There was one I was interested in until they "upgraded it".  The fun parts of it were shrunk down to being almost non-existent and I quickly lost interest.  When some folks expressed opinions on the change that were anything less than "It's awesome and perfect and you guys are gods!" everyone was told the toy was just fine and just as fun as the older design.  But of course the staff is going to say that.  They want money so they aren't going to say anything negative about their own designs.

Also I would hold off on the wallaby as I have heard that if you dont like it it is a hard re-sell toy, by that I mean to sell to someone else as it is not a popular toy.  But that is only what I have heard and do not know from personal experience, as I too thought about it, but I liked bears design 10 times better....what can I say I loved the curves of it   I am thinking there is post on here under the general section about what gel toys you would like to see come out next in silicone, go there and let your voice be heard for a silicone roo   I hope this was of some help to you

I had heard that story naughty about how they treated some people.  I was asking around for some of those old designs too, and like you I didnt know any others were out there except for bear and elypse art.  Until a few months ago when I found bd and ee.  But to echo redwolf bear will not treat you like that.  He may be slow in his communications, but he will never tell a customer it was there fault for not getting a toy.

Random aside, I don't think I want anything from BD due to material quality. If memory serves, they are using a silicone known as "Dragon Skin". It's not really medical grade, it's the stuff they use to make shoe insoles (orthopedic inserts) and special effects pieces. Seeing how sticky it looks in the old demo videos only made me even more hesitant. Then I took one look at the prices and that sealed it.

I'm pretty glad that at least bear uses the good stuff! I also really love his sculpting work and am willing to wait to see how the revamps come out. I hope there will be lots of delicious texture and details! I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

They do.  If you spend a little time on google, you can find the MSDS sheet for that, then compare to the one on their site.  Only difference is they removed the original manufacturers logo and replaced it with their own.  Same with all the company names.
