I love the Zeta Creations toys. They're excellent quality. I enjoy them very much.

But I think Bear should find a way to 'freeze' or stop the ordering system temporarily until the backlog of orders are cleared, with a note saying "NOT TAKING ANY NEW ORDERS AT THIS TIME". That way it would not cause any confusion or frustration when having to wait for the toys.

I don't mean to put anyone down. I'm just making a suggestion.

Biggest bear hugs,

I would love for BB to do it in 2 weeks, but cutting off orders to do so would make it slower."

Yes, I read that. I still think it would be better if they put all future orders on hold until the backlog is cleared.

Then when they're cleared up, they (Bear etc) could send an e-mail out to everyone on their database to say they're ready for more orders.

Since this is probably a fairly important source of income for him, I think keeping orders coming in will help keep money going into things like raw materials and new molds. Also, no sense in stopping someone from getting a toy that uses a mold that might otherwise just be sitting around empty. Just a thought.

Although future orders shouldn't find past ones, that's an unsteady system to say the least

I could have sworn it said somewhere on the site that there is a backlog and a waiting time right now. Maybe if it said that more clearly it would help?

I tried to come up with how a program could calculate a better time estimate, but it would be kind of hard to make one that really gets the job done.

Oh ok. Cool. I didn't see that. Maybe I need some glasses lol :-p Could Bear get some help in? Personally, I don't mind waiting for things as long as I have a rough idea how long the wait is.

I'm used to it by now. I think day to day I spend my whole life waiting for things. In the bank, the post office, at the doctors, the dentist, shops, supermarkets. I can't think where else I stand in a queue waiting. Oh yes, on the telephone trying to speak to someone... "All our advisers are busy. your call is important to us. Please wait while one of our advisers are free to help you. You are 98 in the queue" Argh lol :-p

I know this has already been covered but there's another angle to this as well.

That is, if this site only took orders during limited "windows" it would mean you'd have to keep checking the site, which would be much harder (and more annoying) than just placing the order & waiting for the toy.

Also I can't speak for everyone but I don't want this site showing up in my browser cache at work (or ANY sextoy-related site), other people it might be university or whatever, so having to keep checking then purging cache etc might be even more of a problem for some good people out there.

I just thought Id mention it as it would really put me off using any site that did anything like that, also I'd start thinking "what if there's a huge queue, and I dont get my order in in time anyway?" like buying concert tickets that sell out really fast.

These are really specialist and carefully made items, after all, not mass produced throwaway stuff.  Wink

    Two words: Cum tube.

I think it'd be really awesome if you made a toy with a cum tube.. like this one: http://www.furrystyle.com/yiffy/product.php?productid=59&cat=1&page=1

I'd rather Bear not steal ideas from BD, personally.  Those tubes can be nice, but if you're not planning to use them they just get in the way.

actually it wouldnt be stealing. i do believe the idea has been brought up WELL before BD ever was considered. and i wouldnt be supprised if bear was thinking about doing it with his gels just couldnt get it right.

right now bear doesnt need to add any new options to toys. he wants to get times down first. and for me atleast cum tubes can be fun... in certain situations. but for most just regular toying, id rather not have the tube.

It wouldn't be stealing. There are plenty of companies that use them.

I'm not a fan of them, but to each their own.

Obvoiusly there is an issue with your order, because from what I have read, even though things are backlogged, it seems that the items offered are promply sent asap. If you've waited over a year, than were you fully charged for the item? If so, than you should ask for a refund and reorder, or refund and forget the order all together if it's going to take so long to receive it. Considering the business and the fact that it is a thriving business, I find it hard to believe that your order would be backlogged so long. If your order was spicific,, I still don't see why it would take so long. Somthing is running aFOWL if you ask me.. and I don't think it's all Bears fault....
Just from a newbie POV who has her own business.
