list of empty molds?? // toy in each mold??

I think it might be a good idea if there was a list of empty molds so people knew the wait would be days rather than months, and it would also help Bear sell some of the less popular toys and make money without as much backlogging. or perhaps Bear could put a toy in each  empty mold and sell them as premades. even if the number of empty molds is few, it would still help sell some toys and will even encourage buyers. a long wait can be intimidating but premades sell like hotcakes

First, BB never makes his toys and lets them sit around on a shelf somewhere. That is the BEST thing about BB's toys, they are handcrafted, made to order with lots of love . However, it appears that most of the toys have been switched over to the Silicone process which is MUCH faster and safer (for BB) than the gel molds. I would only say that Talarath needs to make a few more headers in the Silicone area; some toys are being put into the Fantasy area that maybe need to go to a Marine header, or something like that.

Hmm, true not having them premade lets everyone get whatever customization they want. Although there still could be a list as to which toys aren't quite as backlogged (obviously the canines are, but I wonder about the bears and lions, etc)

in my experience, the more tracking and reporting of where every item is in the shop, the slower the product is made and progresses. Pretty soon you'll have bear checking every toy progress without being able to make a one of them.  If a mold is sitting empty on the shelf, it probably wont be for long, or there is a very good reason why it is empty.  I'd say let Bear make 'em as he needs to, if he has time to report where each one is, it'll happen.  My order history has my toy listed as in Moulding Que, but it's standing proudly on the desk right next to me.. figure that one out. O.o  I think he's right to forgo the reporting for the producing. Good work Bear!

All molds are always in use.  There is little chance of one being empty and if there is, Bear would probably use it to make stock which is where some of the premades come from.
That, and pouncy is right.  Bear doesn't have an automated system for making this, it's all by hand.  So he would have to constantly update it and that slows it down even more.   Unless I got up there and retrofitted his shop with a bunch of electronic gadgets that are nearly automated, there wont be a tracking system for molds.
