Well, we decided to let you guys see what I've been working on for a little while now. I reskinned the forum with a more modern look (and much better than the old desert style.)
If anyone finds something that may seem to need fixing please do let me know. One of the issues that may appear is transparency around the borders. If you see white or anything of the such, its because you're using IE6 or below which doesn't support that in PNG files. To fix that, you'll need to upgrade your browser to the latest version (I believe IE is at
or get a new one such as firefox (
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ ) which won't give you any problems on websites.
Browser advertising aside, two other features have also popped up:
Private support forum. This is for those topics that concern personal/private information but also need answering. Examples such as order updates would be good in here, or if you have troubles ordering. Nice alternative to email. Your posts are hidden from other users and only admins+yourself can see your posts.
Awards. Just something fun I've been working on for the forum for a little while. They will show up on posts under the users info. I have limited it to show only 2. To get awards, go into 'Profile' and click on 'Main'. Then on the right you can click 'Assign'. Select the award you wish in the scroll menu and click save. No verification needed.
To see available awards, just click on 'Main'. There is multiple pages.
To see who else has that award, click on 'Members'
To see your current awards, on the profile panel click on 'Awards'.
If you wish to display a specific toy on your post, set it as a favorite by clicking the arrow to the right of the description on the 'Awards' page. (You can show a specific 2, but they must be in diff categories.)
With all that said... I decided to let users choose to add their own awards to their profiles as this is
for fun. Yes, someone can add all of them to their profile, but wheres the fun in that?
