Back in December I was wishing for snow. Now I've got it. Drifts so tall they buried my car, blocked me into my apartment, and closed down where I work (which never closes. EVER. Seriously.)

So it's your fault huh? Last night I had a driveway and sidewalk. This morning they're gone and I had to force the door open to get out of the house.
It hasn't snowed much, but a lot of drifting. The worst is yet to arrive. Can you say blizzard? (S/W Michigan)
Took the dog out to go poo. He's a big German Shepherd (115#). His butt was under the snow when he dumped. Glad my butt isn't in the snow to poo.
Going to stay indoors today and dig out tomorrow.

Well, we've got the subzero temps out here. In fact, this morning it was -16 on my way to work. Thankfully, tomorrow it is suppose to get above freezing.

I called off today because of the snow. It will take me awhile to dig out the patio so we can actually get out of the house, and then mom's car is also buried. The chick at work I talked to for my call-off wasn't very happy since I live really close to work *I usually walk in on weekdays* but there's just no way I'm going to walk in this crap. I'll have a heart attack. She's not nice anyway so I don't care how annoyed she may have been. When my aunt died back in August this woman got all pissy that we were needing me to have a short, early shift one day that weekend to make the memorial party. Apparently my family needs to die around her schedule.  |

The mountains received a lot more than we did here in the city. We only received about 3 inches, but the cold was incredible! |
