Because that's what it seems like. Which makes everyone who continues to wait patiently without complaint wait just a little longer. If I were a mod, and I saw this, I'd delete the posts and send the offenders a PM explaining that: A.) Bear is one man and if they weren't prepared to wait for a well-crafted toy, they shouldn't have ordered in the first place. Even Hanzo Hattori in Kill Bill took a -month- to make a quality blade, and he had TWO people working on it. B.) Posting your order number as an "AHEM" is unacceptable, childish, AND off-topic. (This is SUPPORT, not HURRY UP BEAR MY ASS/VAGINA IS UNFILLED) C.) As a poster once said, "Can't wait for my powerball numbers!" -- Bear may be lotterying them, due to having x number of materials that day. If you take his profits away by demanding a refund, you screw over other people that may have gotten their pick as well. tl;dr btw my order number is 2001 if you want to thank me, Bear

Twas I who first mentioned "Powerball" as a joke. ment nothing more about it and after a second attempt to garner a laugh from those who were waiting I realized it might be seen as a form of pressure and dropped it. ment nothing with it other than a (i see now) poor attempt at a laugh. But your right. Another thing i was thinking about along this line (and a very good one you started) is all the people who are asking Bear "Where is my oder in the mold queue?" 1) he reads it. 1 minute because he has to write the number on the back of his hand to make sure he gets it right 2) goes gets the stack of papers (assuming thier printed out for ease of access): 2 minutes. 3) rifles through them to find the work order. (out of maybe 1000 for ease of access because he has so many that start with a particular number): 5 minutes. 4) swears because he realizes this is the third time he's replied tio this same order (for me because i really can swear this long): 5 minutes 5) composes himself so that he can write a nice reply: 3 minutes (Bear really is more level headed than I am) 6) writes the reply: 2 minutes 7) rereads this post for a quick pick me up because he really needs a laugh: 1 minute gets back to work with a chucle in his heart and the warm glow of the shot of Jack spreading through him: 1 minute... now I know all this doesnt actually happen so give and take which step you want to belive and add the time up. I mean actual best case is he KNOWS what the order status is and can reply in less that 2 minutes to there being steps i never thought of included in what i posted so yeah, time to leave Bear alone with questions that really can wait. Im not saying dont ask questions, just quit asking him to look up your order every third day

I will say this, if it has been 4 - 5 months and your still waiting its ok to ask "once" at what stage your order is in....if you just ordered and its been 2 weeks....give it a rest...bear is not a magician. those who have been waiting nearly a year or longer kudos to you for being that patient and bear knows who is best customers are, if your willing to wait a year for a toy or two you know its going to be worth it. Its only natural to be curious where your order is but at least give it several weeks before hounding and harrassing bear where your order is at. I swear I am not surprised if someone didnt start hounding him the minute the order was placed....is it done yet is my toy ready yet.....grow up people! ONE MAN producing thousands of toys for BILLIONS of people.....you do the math!

I don't send order #'s to bear for faster completion unless due to something unreasonable. Also, telling him to do order #x isn't exactly putting it at the top of the list. He's the owner and the one who makes the toys, everyone else can only tell him. We can't make him do the orders we tell him to. I used to send order numbers to him for people that ordered due to the wait time not being on the way to checkout, but orders after october of last year I dont forward if under less than 1 1/2 months. Anyways, if I told him to make order #xxxx now, he can just ignore it and go on his merry way. We don't control him

I've noticed that trend as well. If I post my order number here and raise enough hell in the order threads, and send in enough tickets, my order will magically pop out in a few days ready to be mailed. This trend makes me sick, as there are many who have been waiting a very long time.
I admit that I harbor some discontent and have complained some after receiving an "Order Complete" email on Jan. 2, 2011, then never got any shipping info. I haven't had a straight answer on that yet other than, "I could have swore I sent it out. I'll get on it right away."
I ordered last June and have waited very patiently until this happened.

I don't think he was fussing at you, but rather that he was pointing out that the order may be random, based on materials, or based on things other than ordering order. Besides, we all like that joke. Even Bear has referred to them as "lotto numbers" once or twice.

Bumping so it stays near the stickied topics. This shit needs to stop, I'm tired of going "Oh hey, there's a new post in Made! Oh, it's another person bitching about their order."

When I see complaints, I do forward them to Bear, but it's up to Bear to handle it all. We don't control him at all, as Talarath says. We just pass on what we can to him. At least, that's what I do.

I hate that people bitch and complain to the point that there order gets done. That just makes me wait longer. I've maybe said 2 or 3 things asking about my order, but that's because it's been almost 15 months. Stop reposting the same shit! geez

its been said before: - please read current threads before posting if they are related to the topic you want to ask about. - you want quality? learn to be paitent. - quality doesnt happen over night. - dont want to wait for something quality? theres THOUSANDS of other places that you can get toys from almost overnight - Bear doesnt have a whole warehouse assembly line set up for making these. they are each made individually and to order by him alone. if it doesnt fit bears high standards it doesnt go out
of all the toys i have ever got, only the ones from zeta were of quality high enough that, should i desire, i would put them up for display as 'art' when friends come over. i made an order back in july, i didnt get it till january, but if you look, you never see me asking bear "when is my toy going to get done", "why is my toy taking so long", "heres my order number im tired of waiting". ive had to wait even longer times for gel toys. you will get your toy when your order number comes up. just calm down and know what your buying is going to be a higher quality then any other place similar to zeta

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Quality takes time and its kind of nice in the day of oil spills and recalls left and right to see a producer of a product take pride in his or her work. I've been posting in here since the night after I ordered the toy I did for my wife and have done some friendly ribbing... but bitch about it not showing up? NEVER!!! and I'll be posting pix of it after it gets here AND long after its been used. Hold the course Bear, make us proud of your handy work! (Oh and before someone says I just ordered it, it was ordered on 05-12-2010 23:18:26 as a Christmas / Birthday present.)

WHAT THE HELL.Again this trope has proven true. Someone in the 12k batch just got their toy from order to ship in THREE WEEKS while the rest of us wait in toy hell purgatory, some of us having waited for over a year. This is no way to run a business. It's unacceptable, seriously. It feels like Bear is robbing Peter to pay Paul. What do I have to do, threaten to cancel my order?
