Yeah I posted about this here already. We're going to go see it, even if it looks overly predictable.

I'm just afraid it's going to be too much like Twilight. I can't STAND those movies and I just hate the fact that they made werewolves so damn romantic. They should be fearsome creatures! Not ripped teenage boys. I just hope (Keeping who the director is in mind.) that they don't take this down that road. On the other hand, I REALLY love The Company of Wolves and it had a very romantic feel. But then again, the entire thing is just a hormone induced dream. :/

ooops..........ok sorry for the double posting about it.....hehehe Cheesy

From what I saw it looked like the wolf is a realistic ish looking wolf.  Not a boy who transforms into one.  But a wolf like the ones in underworld.

    I hate Twilight too.

But remember in ancient werewolf tales, the being actually transformed into an ACTUAL wolf, not this RAAARRRRRRWWRRRR type man-beast that is somewhat common now.

But then, I hope it's not like Twilight too. *sigh*

I'm fond of both concepts. The full wolf transformation and the manbeast. I find both incredibly sexy. As long as it's vicious and primal and not all mushy gushy romance. Gag. Tongue

Nothing, especially if you make your living from it...  But there's always something to be said for a good edgy side, even in romance.

It doesnt look like something I would ever see.  I'm quite surprised they made it at all.

    Apparently it was pretty terrible.

From the wikipedia site for the move:
The film received negative reviews from critics. The film currently holds a 12% rating on critic aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, with the consensus being "Amanda Seyfried is magnetic in Red Riding Hood's title role, but she's let down by her uninspired leading men and a painfully cliched script." Metacritic gave the film a score of 28 out of 100. USA Today complimented the production design, but wrote "it's a foolish story, marred by a strange blend of overacting and bland, offhand performances." Roger Ebert gave the film only one star out of four, stating it is "a movie that cross-pollinates the Twilight formula with a werewolf and a girl who always wears a red hooded cape, although I don't recall her doing any riding." He criticized: "of the classics of world literature crying out to be filmed as a sexual fantasy for teenage girls, surely 'Red Riding Hood' is far down on the list... it has the added inconvenience of being dreadfully serious about a plot so preposterous, it demands to be filmed by Monty Python." Although the American media reception was negative, the international media was mixed.

Oh, MONTY PYTHON Version of Red Ridinghood... I can only imagine what it may be like....
A string of Pussy jokes from the Wolf to Red, Red riding the Wolf.. snicker....The music would be halirious!

    GET ON WITH IT! LOL

I'll test run it when it comes to HBO, if it ever makes it that far. I'd much rather see True Grit remake, and will this tuesday!
