Im just curious and worried about an item I purchased.

I tried to contact Brownbear via email with out any replies and its been well over 4 months!

I understand the statement that items can take from 2-10 weeks but its been double that.

I would like to be updated on the progress but sadly I didn't use this account when I made the purchase =/... Since I know you can use the account to check the progress..I think anyway..

I just don't like when noone replies back..

There are people here who have been waiting for six months and up. My suggestion is to submit a support ticket so that Bear can reply to it and get you an idea of when you're toy will be ready. He's supposed to be catching up on support tickets so hopefully you won't be waiting too long to find out an answer. I wish I could tell you myself, but I don't have that information.

Well.. buyer beware... Lots of posts floating around on the forum with talk of people waiting a year or more.

I'd recommend if you don't get a fairly prompt response from BB to try a multi-pronged attack. There's e-mail, support ticket, forum PM, and instant messenger (which can take offline messages). Make sure you include the fact that it's something important. Cheesy

Pester pester pester and something is bound to provoke a response. If you let an old query collect dust it's bound to get overlooked. Sad

Bear's e-mail IS listed on the site. You could always send him a personal e-mail. Just be sure to include your order number so he can check into it.

Fabian -- Since I've been waiting about 8 months for my last order to arrive, I understand your pain.  I waited over a year for my contest winnings to arrive (although that was impacted by a computer data loss, and my failure to follow up on that).

But even if your order takes as long as mine to process, you don't have to worry about changes in your address in the meantime.  I've had phone, address, color, and firmness changes during my long order waits, and Bear has handled them ALL correctly via use of the Ticket system to make the appropriate adjustments.

Like other companies, automated and similar responses to orders/inquiries don't always work.  Unfortunately since you weren't logged into your account here, there's no way for you to track this order yourself.  Just be sure that however you communicate with Bear, you remember include the order number, and any other relevant details in the communication.

Stay on top of this for sure, but - were I in your shoes - I wouldn't expect to see your toy in less than 8-9 months.

:: meeps :: I ordered last July. The wait is driving me bonkers and when I come on to check the status, my face kinda turns into my profile picture. However, I did happen to meet a few lovely folks along the way. ::wags tail ::

8 inches is too long for me...unless it is flexible. Then 10 inches is too long.  Tongue

    Sorry, couldn't resist.  Cheesy

First order was early April (natural Akita) and second order (boxie, roys toy and lil rider) was just last month. I trust BB will get to mine as soon as he can. I'm sure the new help will speed things up.

There's a lot of outside influences going on there too... try and be paitent. The shop is almost completely switched over, and with the new Bear in the woods, things should be rolling along, (Thinking maybe a honey pot might entice the bears, or fuck things up worse).
I know, just as a lot of the rest, that it pisses the crap out of me when I order something and it's not delivered in what I believe is an approperate amount of time. BB, however, is all hand made artisan that takes time. It's not a silcone factory that has migirante workers on the assembly lines... WHICH, I must say, no matter how slow BB may be in getting  orders out they are all AMERICAN MADE and well worth the wait... I LOVE MY LIttle Zeta.. and am ordering OSKAR soon....no matter how long I have to wait. Especially if he looks anything like EQ!!!!  Kiss
