Surprise Me! Did this option help?

 Did anyone use 'surprise me' on their order?

 I was wondering A. How did yours turn out?
               and    B. Did it make your wait time any shorter?

 Just curious as I chose this option so I would get my toy sooner. I submitted a ticked to see if I could ask for 'not neon orange or solid brown'..but no response to ticket.
 Not to worried though..

Yes.  Keeper in Surprise Me and Hard.

Turned out fine.  Pretty solid red color.  It might not be in the right firmness but I really don't know what's what here, BB didn't answer my inquiry either so...
And yeah.  Less than a week.  Still waiting on a White Keeper in medium firmness...I think three months?  So pretty big difference.

 Glad to hear it that its worth it..the color won't bother me as much as having to wait for a year to get the toy would ^.^

I wanted my Oskar in natural, but I'm leaning towards the suprise me color if it gets here sooner.... I'd love it in a vibrant color. My biggest fear is it would come in some ugly brown or something... that's the only put off I have about Suprise me!

Not that I get to see my grandson often, but yeah, I've seen baby S**** green enough in my life between my two kids and him...lol
So yea, I would appriciate it if you would do that, and baby S*** brown too... ROLMAO.
Oh if I could get DAY GLO something...lol now that would be a suprise, especially since I FINALLY broke down and order my OSKAR yesterday!!! Can't wait to get him... I"m so sexcited!!! LOL

 I submitted a ticked almost 2 weeks ago requesting that if it was possible, I did no want something solid brown or solid orange. No response but maybe it didn't need one.

Oh my dear pussy cat, I went around and around with BB about Suprise me and colorized NOT this or that color...lol

I  just hope that the SUPRISE  me colors don't include nasty browns or such... uggh. Now what kind of suprise would that be?

Now I could see if he made a color that didn't quiet turn out green enough, or bright enough, or maybe mixed the colors together wrong and said, okay, suprise, this is the one you get that was for another order that was flubbed, because of a coloring mistake... but oh no.... not the brown...LOL

Actually, I believe the only brown toy Knot had was the Double Silver he bought used from Kynx. 
And Knot doesn't have that toy anymore, since he traded it to me.  YAY!!
FYI, it's actually a nice, rich brown color, almost exactly like good-quality milk chocolate.  Only MUCH less fattening, and WAY more satisfying.  Just saying....

And the speed with which you get your toy is based on how many are ahead of you on that particular model.  Unless Bear has an "off the shelf" toy in stock that matches the model and firmness you requested, surprise me really doesn't increase your chances of getting a toy faster.  Sorry.

  Actually Ayame, this is a direct copy and paste from the main page at Zeta Paws..this is the ONLY reason I ordered things in surprise me..

Just recently there has been 2 improvements in decreasing wait time for your order! First up, when you're adding an item to your cart you can select a new color, 'Surprise Me'. This option lets us choose the color for your toy which means we can use leftover material from other toys in yours! Without needing to make up a whole new batch, we can just quickly switch over to the mold and pour yours.
Then we also hired a new hand to help out in the shop! He'll be working on pouring toys, so now its not an entire one man job in there."

 So, as it reads, it states that choosing surprise me should mean getting the toy faster...

Well, I don't know about that. I ordered OSKAR and got him within a few weeks. Maybe I got lucky cause BB had one that was a return, extra, etc. I really don't know about the firmness, because he feels med to hard to me... and it's this awesome purplish black color... I was happy, but I would have waited longer. I waited a year just to purchase it in the first place cause I couldn't make up my mind.
So now I have Oskar... yummy!
Honeslty, I think it made a difference, and then, Maybe, I just got really lucky!!!

I'm sure as hell not gonna compalin.
