I have responded to your ticket you submitted. Since there isn't a way to fix the toy, for safety sake, please retire it for now. Don't dread because that toy, which I have one of in gel, is going to be coming out in Silicone shortly. Please be patient and wait for now. Wink Cheesy

How long has it been out of service for over a year now, and your just telling me to wait for the silicone to come out? That the case your buying it for me right? Because apprently I'm made of money and all...

The only way to safely 'repair' toys like that is to completely melt it down and remold it.  A way that can be used (which I do not recommend in any way shape or form) is to use a hot piece of metal and melt the crack.  That would be a very basic patch job which may or may not work (as in it could still break).

This post is an opinion as a consumer, not the company.

Tal, did we go wrong somewhere on this issue? I mean, there is no SAFE way to fix the toy. That is why I recommended "retiring" it for safety's sake. This is one of the reasons why BB went to Silicone for safety's sake, which I fully support him on.

I didn't say it was safe.  I expect some common sense to be used and that the method not be used (as stated).

Should it be thrown away?  Without a doubt.  But judging from the tone of his posts, he doesn't seem to care of the dangers so atleast trying to reduce the likelihood of it tearing completely off the bottom is reduced rather than using it with the rip just progressing.

Official stance: Don't use it.  Throw it away.  Using it after a rip can result in possibly injury, death, a visit to the ER or some form of pain and expense which we can't be held liable for.  Anything I said in this thread except up to this bolded area is strictly personal opinion and does not reflect the views of the company.

I just wanted to make sure on that one, Tal. I thought for sure that I had gone to sleep at the helm and yes I did notice the tone of his postings. I just wanted to make sure that the problem was handled SAFELY. I will be happy to retire my Fossa when it comes out in Silicone and I can certainly wait. Wink
