Good question, at any rate stop whining.  If you're a teen, whether 13 or 19, unless you have terminal cancer or something, you don't need a mate yet. And as 2 says, don't just tell people all about being a fur. Not everyone gives a rat's ass or cares. I like my fellow furs, but it's not something you tell your family. At least not until you have your own place and are financially independent enough to afford possibly being disowned.

But either way, CAPITALIZATION and PUNCTUATION are your friend.  By the time you are a teen, the school system, shitty as it is should have taught you better by now.   And anyone who tells me that I shouldn't judge someone for their writing, this is the only way you really can judge online, and if you come off as illiterate, that comes with a whole bunch of stigma.

It is also sad that because of greedy publising companies, the U.S. has a functional illiteracy rate of 75%. Most of the U.S. population cannot read above an 8th grade reading level. In other words, if you cannot afford to buy it, you can't read it to improve yourself.

Is age verification ever done here if one is suspected?

I am hoping that the age verification software that Tal has installed will do this; only thing to do is hope that it works the way it is suppose to.

With it being the internet, that's an issue.  If I asked to see a license, it can be faked, lied out of or true.
1) I get a valid ID for the person [true]
2) User says they don't have a scanner/camera [lie]
3) User googles for an ID or asks a friend over 18 to scan one [fake]
4) User denies giving any form of ID since its not required by law. [neither true/lie/faked]
I could ask for a CC#, but there is no way to verify it is the users CC# or not a prepaid.
I could ask for a picture of the user, but that goes back to asking for ID.


So, short of asking for the users SSN and verifying it through that, there is no simple or foolproof way to verify anyones age.
