We all know bear is bearly making overhead on these toys, infact he is more than likely breaking even which means not being able to get the supplies he needs to make more toys. I have attached a list of the toys current prices and the proposed mark ups. Its simple read what I have proposed and vote yes or no to the new prices suggested.
We know bear is running 4 or 5 different things here at the same time, he has this, his honey, his garden, his eggs.....did I miss anything??? So with these small mark ups he could actually buy more material and actually afford postage without taking money from his other businesses.

Looks like what your suggesting is that most of the toys only go up $5, I'm game for that!

Bear's prices have always been pretty low compared to his competition. I'm surprised they haven't already gone up a bit.

I think the 'limited time only' sale that has been going on since I ordered in July needs to go away, that would help a lot!
And yes. If I ever order again, I would pay a 10% to 20% increase to get my toy in less than 3 months.

I see 6 others agree with me on this issue of bear needing to go up.

Its a good idea and its not by that much, I mean you propose is that most of the products go up by only $5 and thats not very much at all. It wouldn't be so much that people wouldn't buy but it may be enough to get Bear back on his feet enough to get business to really boom again. I personally would love to get plenty more toys. (lol see my wishlist). My only problem is that I want to get them one at time so that Bear gets a chance to get caught up but give me something to play with. Bottom line: I for one think its a fantastic idea.

Did anyone ever think that maybe BB isn't in the business for total profit? Maybe he is in the business to fill that niche` which happens to be on a lot of people's minds now. I can assure you that 10+ years ago, this business would not have lasted at all because there was almost no demand for the toys. Now, animal toys, like the ones BB makes, are now 2% of the 16 Billion Dollar a year porn industry. But, BB makes his toys with UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for all of those who order one because he cares about his product and customers. Sure, he could buy some really expensive machines and automate the process, but then the prices would be 5 to 6 times what they are now to keep the product rolling off of the autmated assembly line. If there is a screw up on the assembly line, thousands of dollars worth of material would be wasted. BB doesn't want to do that right this minute. His competition doesn't like him very much either and I will rest assure you that if they could destroy BB enough to FORCE him to sell out, they would. It is us long term customers that have kept the business going right up until now. He is currently looking at EXPANDING his current line with ideas from his customers like myself and a few others. I would NEVER sell my design to anyone else, because I know that my design is going to be the GREATEST out there because of the hand craftsmanship that BB puts into his product. You can't get hand craftsmanship from a machine; it doesn't have the heart and soul that a human has. Just some food for thought.

The suggested prices were not for profit, it was intended so that bear could afford to keep silicone on hand, pay for postage, and get toys out at a faster rate without having to take away from his other business, like his eggs, honey, and gardens. This was merely to keep customers happy and keep this place going for much much longer times. Based on the increases I suggested he would still be the lowest and have the most selection.
Besides how can he get supplies and everything else when there are numerous requests every day for refunds?
By going up he is able to counter act these refunds and still get supplies, ship, and keep things going around here. I am just trying to help bear from folding under. I know he has been doing this for a long time. But look at the economy and way things are heading, somethings are expendable, just looking out for those in the toy world who love his products.

I think Bear has no choice but put the prices up. He needs to make enough to keep going and to make a profit to live on.
The toys are beautiful and high quality. I'd be happy to pay $10 or $15 more, especially for the bigger stuff. I also think he should consider the rush order idea that came up awhile ago. If someone wants to pay an extra $25 to get their order out within a week, then they should be able to do so.
Oh, and a release of the rumoured werewolf toy might provide a tsunami of cash for him.

Stop taking new orders til he can get caught up, so people arent feeling like a refund is their only choice. A price hike is not going to help things, people are just going to end up paying $5 extra for things they will still never get.
