Order Suggestion

Maybe instead of people having to look through the 'Made Orders' thread maybe what BB could do is make a thread that only he and the mods can post in and (its easier to show then to tell) do something like this:

Example only:

All orders below #2378 are DONE AND SHIPPED!
Also done and shipped!:

2395
2399
2452

These orders need to be shipped:
3869
3967
3468
3264

These orders are being worked on:
4583
3459
4675
4655
3754

He or the mods could put up the orders as they are done. I don't know if the mods can see when the orders are done but if not then BB could send them a list and they could update it. If they put only one post and just keep editing that one then people could see in a few seconds if their order is done rather than looking for a long time. I'm not trying to put more on BB's plate, I know its kinda overflowing as it is, just trying to suggest something that would make it where people wouldn't be as frustrated. Plus if all this information is in one thread then people wouldn't have to search through the three existing threads. And if only BB and the mods are allowed to post it would keep the thread from getting overrun with irrelevent posts. Or at the very least if its not locked then with this as the 1st post and with it being edited people can only look at the first post when they want info. Also with this all that would have to be done is to change the numbers. Tell me what you think.

Seems like a few people like this, maybe Talarath could take a look at this and talk to Bear about it and see if they both like it.

I can't force bear to do anything.  Convincing him to do this would also be unlikely, let alone keep it updated.

The way he's updating people right now isn't very efficient, but its how he does it.  Getting him to change and stay consistent wouldn't work :|

Well I may be thinking about this as a person who has no life. I only get 1 day of work a week garanteed, so I don't get to do much. And theres not much stimulating conversation with only my 1 year old around. lol

Go see a rated R movie with your kid, and then discuss it over a fine dinner afterwards with him.  It seems everyone is doing it nowadays :|

The suggestion is sound, but as with most things, BB is the one who needs to do it.  I would love nothing more than to implement all these nifty things to help customers, but it's wasted effort if its not used consistently.

I see what you mean, it just seems like its really hard for Bear to keep up with everything. Lol does he have any kids or nieces or nephews that are in middle school, I was always looking for some extra cash back then, he could have a little receptionist.

I'd do it if I could. The problem seems to be that....

• Bear has limited time and can get disorganized because of it. (Being tired from hard work does not help you be organized)
• Not many people should have access to the "working list". What if plans change? What if the helper makes a mistake? It's touchy enough as it is when Bear himself makes an error, adding in more variables isn't good.
• The "Orders made" and "Orders sent" threads were originally meant just for staff to post in, but people have started using it as a "where's my order?" thread instead. If these threads became staff only, then there'd just be more "where's my order" threads made. In short, it's messy but prevents further chaos.
