I received my silicone kit fox today and once i had got it out of the bag and washed the powder off it, i noticed that there was a small, but quite sharp piece of debris very slightly embedded in it. It is very small but having removed it, it has left a small hole about 1mm long and deep. Can this be glued or sealed up? If so, what with? It is on the very top of the shaft so it will be flexing a bit around there and i don't really want it to get any bigger I'm in the UK so shipping it back would cost me nearly as much as the toy is worth so a way to fix it is really what's needed. Thanks

There is no way to fix a damaged silicone toy. Most glues are toxic and/or result in hard, brittle patches so glue won't work. Using other materials to fill the hole can result in the toy having chemical reactions and falling apart. Your best answer is to either use a condom over the toy every single time or contact bear for a replacement as it is defective.
If you explain to bear that the shipping is insane, maybe he'll let you keep the old one instead of shipping it back for a replacement? Talk with Bear and see what he can work out with you.

Actually, Bear will more than likely replace the defective toy, but he will more than likely, because it is his policy, make you return it back to him. He does this so that no one can pull a fast one and get another toy for free. If possible, please send Bear the pics of the debris, damage etc. This may help him understand what happened and keep it from happening in the future.

If you don't want to replace it, get a hold of some Sil-Poxy to repair it. I've used it and it works very well at fixing silicone toys with no harm to your body.

Unfortunately, I rubbed the debris when i first opened the bag and it fell to the floor before i got a good look at it. It's very small so there's no chance of finding it. If he's interested, i can provide a picture of the hole it left (which is not massive at the moment, just worried it'll expand). Not really interested in sending it back as it'll cost me about $20-$30 to send it back and I'll have to pay another $22 in tax for the replacement. Hopefully my other order wont have the same problem

I know that he wants the defective ones back for analysis, but since you're overseas, he may just send you another one at his cost.

In case Bear is reading this (and is interested), I've attached a picture of the fault. My camera has a rubbish macro lens on it so couldn't get too much detail, but it should show the size and location, if not the depth of the hole.

There should have been nothing in it. Just toss it away and I will make you a new one to replace that free of charge. I appologize for the trouble here.

No problem, that's extremely kind of you. I've got another order with you at the moment (3654) so don't rush to do it if combining the shipping helps

I would say something like that is fine... of course, not officially as part of the company but rather a consumer. The placement, size and apparent depth of that cut is minor.

The good news is that bear has made another and shipped it (along with another order i have) - might have required a little wait, but otherwise very pleased with the service I have received
