Is there some comparison between the soft/medium/hard firmness options that can be furnished? I've gathered that "hard" gel is quite firm, but what about the silicone ones? I imagine that silicone is rather more flexible, but I could be wrong... sorry for the questions, I'm trying to make my purchase(s) as fun and fulfilling as possible.

I guess to really answer your question would be to go based on your body type, your overall experience in using toys, and your personal preference.
For me because I have a big frame and a few extra pounds, I have done and used there toys before, and prefer a firm toy that will support my body type.
This is just my opinion and just the way I do it. I am sure others on here have their own style for picking out toys.
Hope this helps you out somewhat.

Hmm... I hadn't thought of that, in terms of body size. Was sort of considering firm, but $100 is alot to spend on a toy to be disappointed, particularly if you could have potentially avoided that by picking the correct firmness. Well, to restate my question then. How does the flexibility of silicone stack up to that of gel? Anyone own both and can compare similar sized toys?

that is a valid point about spending so much on one toy, and then not being able to use it or enjoy it more than what you had wanted to. I wish I could help you out further, but alas I have gotten rid of my gels, and waiting on the silicones. So I wish you all the best on finding the right toy firmness for you.

Well I would have too say that Medium Gel and Medium Silicone have some diffrences. First off the silicone is slightly more flexible at same hardness it seems. but also Silicone is more stretchable than the gel overall, Gel dosent stretch much at all. tho with the Silicone it's jsut the more firmness ya jsut gota pull harder while the gel seems about same , just more bendable when soft. So for using them, I got one soft toy and I have problems with it, it jsut wants too bend away at the sligthest resistance. where the medium is flexible stretchy and can be sqeesed quite abit but it still stands up good and dosent bend away too easy. So yeah I recomend the Recomended Medium Or if ya gonna get a verry big toy and wanna make it easyer too insert knots and such I heard ppl say soft might help a little but softer toys are hard too ride properly as they bend too much. Hard I guess woudl be for those ppl who prefer them verry firms and dont like em flexing too much.

Well, rubber doesn't bend too much, either, and that being what I'm used to, I was thinking firm. Thanks for the info, though! Since I'm thinking Akita and the Euro Ruff or Shepherd, I might go Medium on the 'kita and firm on the other, but I dunno. Still gotta think about it more, I suppose. I tend not to leap into things like this.

I orderd the akita in firm, and after I get it and do my review of it, if you wanted to wait a little while longer before ordering that may give you some more info. Just whatever you wanted to do.

That would be awesome. If you can get it before the end of the month, because I'm aching to take advantage of that sale.

Well, I seem to remember years ago (I found this site in... oh, God, 2004? I don't remember) that orders potentially took some time to fill. I guess that I was still going off that info, but I hope that things have streamlined a bit.

yeah I remember use to you order one month get it like 3 months later....(slight exadreation to proove a point). From what I heard things move alot smoother and faster now. I am thinking I should have mine before months end, and have a review up, before the sale goes off.

Actually, it did take quite awhile to get orders way back when. I think it took It took 3 or 4 months for my gryphon to arrive. BB has seem to gotten around to fixing that and reducing wait times though.

I was actually joking about the wait time, but as I recall also I made my first order around june/july and got it sometime towards the end of september. I would try to plan out when to order it so certain parties wouldnt find out about it, but I said the heck with it, I would just order and avoid the questions as best I could.

every toy i get is the medium firmness mostly because i fear that too hard and i would have more trouble getting things in than i would want. and too soft well, you get droopy cock syndrome and its hard to get things inside when that happens, unless it happens to be a very large toy O,O...

I also have been thinking of doubling up on toys at some point, and I know from experience that flexible is not always the best for that... can make it very tough when things just want to slide and droop away. Thankfully I still have time to decide.
