Well I have Helmutt as well as the euro ruff stuff that I can compare a bit.
The natural texturing looks amazing but I find it can be a bit too rough for me sometimes and consumes more lube. The plus side of this is the knot holds itself in better since it's not quite as slick. If it wasn't for the shape difference(I like the knot shape and size on the Helmutt better as well as the length) then I'd probably use the euro more often but now I find myself using them about equal.

I haven't used any smooth toys, only the Timber, because of it being modeled after the real thing. The texture adds a good amount to it. Though I have ordered a few smooth training toys.

Well I will let you know my thoughts after both get here. I recently ordered both the akita and ruff stuff. I got the ruff stuff for its smaller knot, and the akita for its thicker shaft and much larger knot. Other than that no other reason why I ordered them, well to use ans enjoy, but thats besides the point...hehehe.

personaly i like both, it just depends on what mood im in. if im in the mood for something smooth i usualy use my rabbit or my ruff jr. for the other i use my boxie the fox
