My two oldest toys have minor fractures at the tip, but they are still highly usable.  I hope this day doesn't come for them.

Younger than you were supposed to be, huh? Was she your wife at the time? Because that would be really different.

That's sort of what I figured. If you were gifted with a toy before you were 18, I'd say that just makes you lucky. I'd imagine that you're enjoying your marriage if you had that sort of relationship beforehand, too. I didn't have any toys until I was 26 and my first Zeta wasn't until earlier this year... being silicone, I hope it to last a fair sight longer than "only" 5 years Tongue That's pretty good for a gel toy, though.

If you use a condom with them, though, they should last longer, right?

Maybe, maybe not. The softer you get it in, the longer it will theoretically last, as the chemicals that leech out are the ones that soften it. Considering that those same chemicals are also the "bad guys" of gel toys, that's not necessarily a good thing. But if you really want a toy and can't wait for the silicone version, go for it and take good care of it. The most important thing is probably drying it and making sure it stays dry during storage. Popular methods include powdering and wrapping it in something like a towel. Also don't let gel toys touch one another (or any precious silicone toys) for any length of time if you can help it. They can react poorly with one another.

Indeed, and I (being honest) did not always put it away like I was suppose to, I could tell it was leaching when I did not put it in powder.
Normally these toys last longer than this, Mine was... well... well used lol. Follow the instructions provided with the toys and I am certain they will last longer than this.

    Thanks Zeta!
I will be replacing this with the Silicone after they come out Smiley
