I've never had this problem, because I seem to be one of those people that get more and more sensitive the longer I go or the more often I do it. You could probably wait 2-3 days or so to see if feeling returns, though I'm beginning to wonder just how harsh you're using your toy.....

if it's been a week, check out webMD, or even better, ask a real doctor. remember, you have patient-doctor confidentiality. it wont leave the room

what you told us only us more details? I promise they've heard it all.. you don't have to disclose the nature of the toy, just state you've been using your dildo alot and how your body is feeling/not feeling

Do you feel any loss of sensation with your fingers or such, particularly now that you've waited a week? If you don't notice anything amiss, you could try using it again.
Also, what are you doing to ensure cleanliness? Depending on what you're doing there, that could also maybe be part of the cause. Or it could be just desensitization of the nerves from the texture of the toy and the regular use. That should fade in time. If I use my Akita several days in a row, I experience some loss of sensation. Not a huge amount but it's noticeable.
If it's a serious concern, the doctor is a good recommendation.

It's also best to at least clean the toy before you use it, too.

What has happened to you is not surprising. There are a lot of nerve endings in that area servicing many functions, to name a few there is always the prostate gland, the Cowper's gland, the seminal vesicles, the PC muscle, the groin muscle and a few spinchters thrown in there for good measure. When you have an orgasm as a male, there are a lot of things that must work together at the right time to complete the phase. Don't worry, the feelings will return and all will be back to normal.

Oh, when I wait a few days it's back to normal. When I first got the Akita, I used it 9 times in the first week. I imagine that I had some loss of feeling but I certainly don't notice it at this point.
