. . . I'm not exactly one for travel

And I definatly wont be going now, the way homeland security has doner the airports over the past few years.
my flying days are over
Sad to say Bear, I know exactly what you mean. Flying is the most fun you can have with all your clothes on! I used to LOVE flying - ultralights, choppers, jumbo jets, even crappy military planes withfold-up nylon & almuminum jump seats! Now it's such a big, brutal, time-consuming hassle, that I'm only willing to fly if an ocean is involved, and I can go First Class. Otherwise, I'd rather drive my car.
The airlines have used 9/11 and security requirements to do what they've always wanted to do - treat us like cattle, and charge us for everything. Although if you have the cash to fly First Class and join one of the VIP lounges, you have a reasonably comfy seat, and get bumped ahead and around a lot of the worst stuff. They also check your bags, and feed you without extra charges. But that's a pretty damn expensive ticket, unless you have frequent flyer miles to use for a seat upgrade. BAXTARDS!
