For those who don't know, TSO=Trans-Siberian Orchestra... and they are awesome. They have finessed the art of combining hard rock with orchestra instruments. They released a much awaited new album in October and there is a website where you can here it. http://www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/417545?utm_source=JangoMail&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=TSO+Beethoven%27s+Last+Night+2010+Tour+General+On-Sale+(244333966)&utm_content=bbreitenstein%40yahoo.comI have been to their concert twice and will go again someday. Pyrotechnics, lights and a drummer that has mastered his craft quite well. That electric violin is pretty awesome too.....

Yeah, went to one show once. Missed this years but plan to buy floor seats for this coming year once they're for sale.

I have been to their Christmas show. I wish I could go to their Beethoven's Last Night Concert here in March. They do an awesome version of Requiem on the album of the same name.

Their Christmas shows are AWESOME! to say the least. The ones that I attend here in Denver, Colorado, are simply amazing. This last year they were here, their top electric guitarist played the Flight of the Bumblebee on the electric guitar and did an OUTSTANDING job of it (I don't think that piece of music was ever written for that instrument.).

I found the CD at Walmart for $11.88 so I picked up a copy. They finally put their version of Carmina Burana on disk. Although the english lyrics take some getting used to, it is pretty cool. They also recorded a very interesting version of the Nutcracker. I kinda hope they record a sort of greatest hit album. By far one of my favorite numbers done by TSO is Wizards in Winter, followed closely by the Carol of the Bells and the Mad Russian's Christmas. TSO's albums are always a story. They are like music narrated by a story.
