Zeta is extremely backed up in orders right now. They did not steal your money. Not every company can ship things out super fast... Zeta is a small company, the toys take a long time to make. Be patient.

Hi camben28, I'd just first like to point out that there are a lot of people who have waited longer then 3 months but haven't complained. That said I can understand how upsetting it is that you've paid money for a product and you've waited so long. I myself have had Bear tell me that my order "would be out soon" but was in fact just placed in the "being made" list. I must admit it is annoying but what with Bear having troubles (his partner being ill, fire, etc) it isn't surprising. I think if you really have changed your mind about the toy you should of contacted Bear himself rather then the forum.

If you look at Bear's profile, it has a way to message him on the forums AS WELL as send him a message on messengers like Yahoo, for example. You could also e-mail him as well or submit a support ticket. There are several ways to contact Bear.

Believe me, Bear isn't going to steal your money. But when you have ONE person making the toys, it means things are not going to be shipped out as quickly as some huge company with 100 employees.

My advice is contact Bear via e-mail, support ticket or message him. He can let you know more than WE can on the forums.

    Good luck.

Be careful saying it's fraud. That's libel.

Don't worry, your order will come.

I placed two orders, one I got already the other not yet.

If you ordered a gel toy before they were discontinued, it will take longer than a silicone one would, since they are slower to make.

I wouldn't be worried about it being libel.  For one, if he was going to get sewed, we could examine the guy who would have the good case: the customer that paid for soemthing and never recieved it, or the company that has no ground to stand on because they never delivered.

I can understand the time, but I would like a little reassurance that I was going to eventually get something at all.  I recieved notification that my order was being slotted to be made after three months i think, then that was the last I had heard.  After repeatedly e-mailing inquires (and no, not bombarding we are talking about requesting the status every six to eight weeks) I finally recieved a reply when i asked if I could recieved some kind of assurance that I would get my order someday or a refund.  The reply I recieved was BB sounding surprised and asking that i still hadn't recieved it.  It appears that I've been overlooked or something, which happens, but i'd feel better about it if i recieved a reply stating that it wasn't done, or that it was sent weeks ago (and USPS lost it ir something) but alas, nothing.

I'm hopeful i'll recieve it someday, but I've pretty much given up.

How long have you been waiting?

Also my statement was very much in jest. Unless you're not actually planning to make quilts for Bear or something, let's not get into the legalese. ^..^

    Camben

Aww, don't say that. Bear does tend to be slow with his orders, but I can completely understand why. It's kinda like what every artist who does commissions goes through - we work solo, and thus we produce a product slow, however you're guaranteed to have a top-notch product after.

I know waiting is hard, but please - have patience.  Yes, waiting for a toy for 3+ months does SEEM unacceptable, but you also have to remember - lives outside of the job and all that jazz.

What I would suggest for Bear, being that so many orders/people are saying they're taking so long to get out is to CLOSE NEW ORDERS until he gets all these straightened out, and THEN re-open. It may cost him a few customers, but to me  *puts Vulcan Ears over her own* it seems the only logical thing to do. *takes them off* X3

I ordered in June.  I really wouldn't waist my time worrying about any lawsuit unless we were talking real money.  No people's court b.s.  I totally get that he is backlogged, but I think that he needs to work on customer service and I'd be extatic if that meant expanding his business.  I think that he is a wonderful artist and i do hope to recieve my order.

I know kuroookamitsume, and your totally right.  I really didn't want to come off too harsh.  BB is obviously great at what he does and he clearly has a huge base of satisfied customers.  That is the reason why I placed my order in the first place.  You may be right about closing his orders if he can only fill so many over a certain period of time.  I don't know what his business volume and restrictions are like, so i won't really speculate.  I can say that i think that you could call all of us nitche customers because we are looking for a very specific kind of product and I think that because of our interests none of us would mind waiting an extended period.  I also think that if he cut down enouph to have the time to provide some customer feedback that he'd really be able to maintain that base of patient customers too.

Here's a good way to think about it - read through the forums, and the people's signatures. A lot of the members here have the names of the toys they're waiting on posted there. Also, if he was to cut down his time making toys to do customer feed-back, that'd decrease the time he has to make toys, and thus, delay orders longer.

Just let the man work, and you'll have your product soon enough. While you're waiting, why not browse the forums, and try to strike up conversation? Who knows, that may help the time fly by much faster.  Grin
