So yeah, I live in Michigan. I haven't missed a day of work since I started on May fifth. I had to call in today since my truck was BURIED under a snow drift. Last week we hadn't had any snow, in one day, there was a six foot drift surrounding my car. As the title says, I FU*KIN' HATE SNOW >:

Yeah I heard you guys got it bad! Sad  I hope it'll clear up soon for you!  We got a light dusting yesterday. Nothing really...not in comparison to what you guys got.

We got about the same here.  I'm just a bit south of you in Northern Indiana, and it was loads of fun trying to get to work yesterday.  The roads are still covered in snow even with the plows going through regularly.  It's still snowing, though not as windy.  If I had warmer pants I'd go make a snowman or something, but it's f'ing COLD outside so I don't wanna.

I know all about snow here in Denver, Colorado. I think we are about to get buried as well. You on the other hand have a rare phenomenon know as the "Lake Effect" snowstorms. They're nasty little devils there because of all the moisture they contain. Stay warm and keep warm with your toys! Wink

It was more of an ice storm here on the other side of the lake... (Northern IL)

I can't wait to visit Colorado for the holidays, I miss that state so much.

Update, I had to call into work Monday since my truck was stuck in the middle of a six foot deep drift. I did manage to get it shoveled out and able to go to work yesterday so that's a good thing. As far as I know my country is still shut down and they haven't even really tried to keep the roads clear. This has to be one of the worse storms I can remember. And yes, as far as the lake effect snow, I got that as well, live less then eight miles off of Lake Huron. Joy joy. Sorry about everyone else that got a lot of snow though, it is clearing up ever so slowly. I just hope that we don't get hammered again thurs/fri like we are suppose too.

Rain, rain and floods? Does someone live in Washington State or Oregon perhaps?

We got more snow here today...then it rained on top of it - and now it's freezing over.

    OH JOY.  Embarrassed

BE CAREFUL! freezing rain on top of snow can make for really interesting driving conditions. If you have chains, I would use them.

Thanks hun! Fortunately, I didn't have to go out in it. (since I'm on vacation from work til tomorrow) So it worked out well for me.

Thankfully, it's cleared up for the most part here.  Smiley

Meanwhile I have jury duty on Monday and things are starting to look icy again out here.  Shocked I wish I could stay in where it's warm. I keep hoping the courthouse will close, though things are funny here. District Court was closed due to snow on Thursday, but Circuit Court wasn't closed even though they share the same building. I am being called in to jury duty for Circuit Court!
