Waitwhut... so basically they make their stuff outta the same gel they use for those Dr. Scholls things? That definitely makes me more hesitant to spend $60 on their "wallaby." I think I'll bide my time until your roo is back, hopefully with the same $30 price tag it had before. - http://www.zoofur.com/the-kangaroo.htmlI'm not quite sure what Dr Sholls uses, but it is possible. Chances are, when the roo comes back it'll be in the $40 range as it's a smaller toy and silicone is more expensive than gel to make. On the bright side, it will be a higher grade material than the old roo, so it is worth it.

Their main customer service rep is a jerk I think I know the guy you're talking about. IF it IS the same guy, he has since been let go as both a staff member and a forum mod. This happened right before I got to looking around there, but apparently he had quite the rep for speaking before thinking, being biased, etc. As this is obviously terrible customer service, he was booted. He may have even been banned from their forums completely.

Soooo... it's been two years. I sadly do not see the roo toy on your site. Guessing that plan to have it updated to silicone has been scrapped. A shame, as I really wanted to get one.

The reason why I ask is, mine made in the old gel material is suffering from what looks like dry-rot of somekind (he's been smothered in the powder you shipped with him years ago) but he is definitely falling apart because of the dry air and other factors out here in Colorado. Now, I have not had any problems with the Silicone models at all with the flucuations in heat, humidity etc., but gel toys seem to just not handle this climate changing every 15 minutes very well.
