As I am a Zeta mod I figure it's only fair that I let you guys know that I'm not going to be online much at all for a few more days. A week ago or so, I was in the ER for a severely (and I mean severe) abscessed wisdom tooth. It was so bad I was on the floor sobbing. Anyway, was put on antibiotics and had the tooth pulled two days ago. Feeling pretty miserable still, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm getting a dry socket. (I hear it's worse than the initial tooth ache, can't imagine that!) Anyway...so I'm going to be unavailable a few more days.
Any messages checking on order status and such that are sent to me which I forward to Bear likely won't be answered for a few more days. I just didn't want anyone to think I was ignoring them.
Also, my husband and I just recently moved into a new house, so we're still sorting all of that stuff out too so things are pretty messy right now.
Just wanted to give you all a heads up. I'm just out of commission right now.

I am so sorry this has happened to you, hisredwolf! D: If you don't mind, I'll say a special prayer for you tonight, for a speedy recovery.
Also, have you ever heard of Red Cross? It's clove oil. It numbs well - I have a few cavities in my teeth and when they bother me, I just rub a little bit of that on and BAM! Instant relief. ^^
Also, if you can still brush your teeth, I would recommend Synsodyne.

Sorry to hear of your dental issue. I feel for you.
I was lucky with my wisdom teeth. They were the size of a pea and had no root.
On the other hand I have since lost all my teeth. Cause was six three week cycles of chemotherapy, thirty days of chest radiation, fifteen days of brain radiation.
I had a great oral surgeon and had no real pain or other issues.
Hang in there, you will make it.

sorry to hear, I myself have been sick as a dog that choked on a frog for 3 days now, including very little sleep, plenty of vomiting and going through 3 big boxes of tissues in 3 days and now working on tp.. as for oral pain (lol) I had surgery on my jaw in jr high and had 14 teeth removed and chunks of coral put in my bottom jaw so I somewhat know your pain.. that and 10 yrs of braces. anyways hope you feel better soon

lol thanks for the concern on her thread, feeling a little better tho still coughing alot and stuff in my lungs but not nearly as sick, seems the one day was the only was to be physically sick, I think it might be related to having drank a coke out of a glass that I noticed there was mold in the bottom of after finishing drinking it... yuck, see what I get for being rushed to put the dishes away while they were still wet? tho I have the worse gag relexes on earth so I tend to choke when I cough too much, tho today its not going further than a cough 'knock on wood' *thunks himself in the head* yeah my fathers been sick a week, tho not as bad as me, my sister and niece are sick, my sister with strep, I dont get sick often but when I do its pretty major, last time even close to this was over 3 years ago and that wasnt even as bad as this. But yeah as I said, feeling better but still not even 70%.. at least my appetite is coming back and Im drinking coke again so my headache is going away after 3 days without (bit of a coke addict, coca cola that is).. just have to stay away from some of the posts on here, porn sites, and alot of newer movies, no need to tempt myself into wasting fluids while sick lol.. thanks for the concern and sorry for the oober long post.. and sorry for the bit of a hijack hisred |
