    anybody else havin a problem with the new Firefox (7.0) locking up everytime you start it? or is it just me and my crappy computer..

    try uninstalling firefox completely then reinstalling it. that should fix that big of a break <3

    I just installed it but haven't use it yet. I've noticed issues with their latest updates, it's like they're trying too hard; kind of like facebook(won't get into that though). I do have quite a few add ons and plug ins on there too(some plug ins haven't been working since 5.0).
    Something else I recently noticed was my CPU usage shooting up while using firefox(the newest update before the new 7... Usually it'll run around 2-5% usage but when I open up firefox it shoots to 20%. So if that's happening to me, it may be why yours is locking up on you.

    its a gaming computer, but i guess since its ~3 yrs old... >.>

    Well, I found the problem I was having that was causing my CPU to shoot up and my proxy to freak out constantly. I installed Utorrent recently and it automatically installed a search feature into my browser; the search feature ended up causing it. After disabling the search bar it is back to normal for me now. I was thinking it was the issue all along but also was thinking it was the 7 update since I did both at the same time. Ah well, things are normal now.
