I have done all I can in regard to the lost package. I will mkae you a new one free of charge and ship it out to you.
you should be able to initiate the inquiry process, and when USPS deems it lost they should send you a check. do it, it may take a while, but thats money in your pocket to help repay the free toy you are making.

Well I tried to contact USPS to file an investigation and after about a week I get this reply (USPS have absolutely zero support of international parcels unless its the sender from the United Stats that contacts them)
"Per UPU regulations, inquiries on articles mailed to international destinations may be filed by the sender or the addressee with their own postal administrations. To file an inquiry on an article mailed from the United States, you may contact the sender and ask them to file an inquiry with us (United States Postal Service) or you may contact your postal administration to file an inquiry."
We've already gotten our Local postal service to make an instigation with no success, so YOU have to contact USPS and file one Bear, we are completely unable to... Wouldn't it be better to do this to try find the toy than making a new one?

it would be easier for Bear to get you a toy and make you happy, if he does start an investigation USPS will give auspost 60 days to come back to them with their side of the story, thats 2 months of just sitting around with no news, and then by the time USPS is done and they fork out money you would have a resolution by maybe October, then bear gets paid by USPS and then he just makes a toy and sends it to you which you would probably get by halloween.
its just too much wait for you to be involved in, especially when you don't know the outcome. if I were bear I would be doing it this way too, then file the inquiry and forget about it, USPS will do its thing and eventually it will conclude and he will get information on the claim.

It's already been over a month. I WANTED this toy for back in April which he seemed fine with and sent just over a month later - understandable. At this point I don't care if it's another one - if I have to WAIT TILL HALLOWEEN or another 5-7mths I don't want to even bother. I can just get my money, take it to fetishzone, and have an Akita in 2-3wks if bear gets the money back :/ Already done that with Bad Dragon and it's going much better there. Theres a slight delay thanks to their 'surprise me' toys at the moment, but nothing like 5-7mths.

Checked Post Office again today - apparently they finished the inquiry and sent me a letter about it that hasn't even arrived :/ Luckily in the last 2wks i've received 2/5 orders at least. Yours is one thats still lost along with a bundle of fur and some art pieces. This service is despicable. Personally i'm beyond the point of frustration and just want my toy, my money, or some premade ready to go canine of equal value :/ I honestly don't care what it is anymore, if it's canine, and of equal value - I'M FINE WITH IT. If it helps get it out faster, I'll be fine with any of these ones except Boxie the Fox and Euro Ruff Stuff: http://www.zoofur.com/Silicone-Canine/In all honesty I just want my moneys worth ;~;

Bear,
I see you're getting alot of refund requests - and while i'm quite annoyed and have been a pain due to this shipping problem, i'm not going to keep asking for a refund.
All I want is something canine and of equal value, I don't care so long as it's not yellow, green, brown or grey in all honesty. So long as it works out to the same price.
Even if it's an Akita you've made for another order, it really does not have to be natural coloured even. I just want what I originally paid for. I can't wait any longer, and I REALLY don't want to be waiting past halloween.
Unfortunately until USPS has stopped their search, nothing else can really be done.

Bear Email sent with order number, forum name, and address. I really want to be kept updated on this one no offence - can I make sure to get an email/update here AS SOON as a tracking number becomes available? And a post/email/whatever the day it is sent/day after it is sent so I can keep on their asses about this parcel. Another reciept/proof of package sent would be lovely as to prove the date it was sent, and when I should be expecting it. I will get this package this time. I will not let AusPost do this to me again and so help me if they do I will make sure whoever delivers that day will never want to work again.

If it went to my spam folder it was deleted in 7 days - hotmail/y7mail/gmail all delete theirs in 7-10 days. I was not notified it was sent the first time :| TRUST me if I knew it was sent within the first week I would have checked EVERYWHERE and HAVE checked everywhere, every email address, every folder, searched thoroughly. And there was nothing :| Way past that stage now anyway dude.

Final update on Australia Posts half:
"21 July 2011
Dear Ms Lunardi
Thank you for your enquiry concerning the non-delivery of an article posted to you from overseas.
Unfortunately, on this occasion it has not been possible to locate the article. Any article deemed undeliverable that has a return address will be returned to the sender. However, as the best means of tracing a missing postal article posted from overseas is by an enquiry initiated in the country of origin, it is strongly recommended that the sender represents this matter at the office of lodgement.
Thank you once again for your enquiry. Australia Post appreciates every opportunity to improve the postal system and correct any faults that may exist. For this reason, a record of your enquiry will be kept for future reference.
If you have any further enquiries regarding this or any other postal matter, please don’t hesitate to call our Customer Contact Centre on 13 13 18.
Yours sincerely
Blair R"
Now it's definitely lost, and not returned to sender.
