Well I feel bad now. I had been trying to contact you and had been updating my ticket (not in an obnoxious manner, mind you) and had no idea there was a forum where I could find out what had happened. A part of me was concerned the site was just abandoned, but after reading through your posts, I understand now.

    As you work through your backlog of messages, please take it with a grain of salt and remember that there are some oblivious people like me out there. ^^;;;

I hope everything works out for you in this unfortunate state of affairs.
ya i had no idea either, until i decided to poke my head in here XD

Sucks bout ur situation tho bb ...
u wouldnt wanna move into that house or make it ur workshop ?

welp im finally finished with the house in NM, so i am on my way back home right now.
took abit longer thaqn I thought it would, but I wont have to go back anytime soon, so thats good.
I cant wait to get home and go back to work now.
this was definatly NOT what id call a vacation. I had to slepp every night in the back of my truck, and only got 3-4 hours sleep a night due to the heat.
so im just across the texas border in OK now, and I have to stop in NC to drop some stuff off, then back to home.
Should be there in 2-3 more days, and I hope folks will understand if I take a day or 2 to recover from this trip before I hop back lover and start working.
I know I have a TON of e-mails to do, plus toys to make.
I should be able to order material ther same day I get back home.
I was counting on getting reimbursed for all my expenses from the trip, but the attorney said no, so I took it up the tail on that one.
and I have to split the escow monthly payment with my uncle, but itll help out when I start getting monthly payments.

so im gonna hop on yahoo to see whos on, then kick back and relax.

    well, im finally home again.
after almost 3 weeks I wasnt sure I was ever gonna make it back or not.
still feels like im on the road though.
took me 4 days to finally get home, and I am chomping to get back to work early monday morning and see what I can do to help folks.

many lessons were learned on this trip and I will soon be putting them into practice.

    take care all.

Welcome back! It's good that you made it home safely and got a little something out of the trip, even if that something is a little wisdom.  Smiley

    Finally Smiley
I know that kind of "vacation" dear bear, have been working on my parent's house for about 20 years now. Some things never change.

By the way, do you have any kind of timeline for the announced toys? Some new ideas that might be realised in (near) future?

Oh, and, how long does a normal order take at the moment? Just thinking about picking up this neat dingo... ^^

dang its soo hottt here today, its just plain miserable.
Been so long since it rained, everything is drying up and we areunder danger of brush fires.

reminds me of the first year we were here, had to putout tubs of water for the wildlife to have a place to drink.

but on a good note, my material is out for delivery, so I can start makeing more toys tonight Smiley
so look for new numbers to start appearing tomarrow in the orders shipped list Smiley

sorry to report that no orders will be going out till at least monday/

we got hit by a nasty storm yesterday ab=nd are without power.
so far as I can tell we just lost some roofing on one shed and some doned trees, but all in all we are safe and ok here.

Hopefully the power will  be back soon, and we can get things rolling again.
for now we are very limited battery backup, so I cant stay long.

    Take care all

well its now day 3 with no power, and they say it could be 4-5 more days till its back on.

we had a storm that blew through last  night and knocked part of a tree down on the house, but we lucked out and didnt get any damage.
also had one fall on the shop, but again no damage.
so as soon as power gets back I can start makeing toys again.

we are still on battery backup here, so cant be on long.

tried to go find a genny at the store, but all were sold out.
was hopeing to at least be able to make toys with it.
    but they were out.

luckily we at least have water back, so we can take cold showers, especially in tyhis miserable heat.

sorry for the typos, im on a laptop and typing by candle light
    Tongue

take care all, and please know as soon as we got power back ill be right back to work..

We just got power back here where I live. Hopefully they get it back to you fast. Though I know it is typically much harder out where you live. Lower density of people. But I hope you survive well!

i know it hard with no power to do this i when 3 weeks with out power due to family problems dont ask. well hope you can get power soon so thing can get back on track.

side note if you have a lawnmower you may be able to find a few car alternator at your local junk yard and get some power that way if it really get bad it a Do it your selfer project but it can be fun and in jam and help. there lost of intesting thing on youtube. well it may be something you want to do know since it only 4 to 5 days but for any future emergency you could consider having the setup close by it out put is not much but to run a few things around the house like the coffee machine, lights and a fan it can really make a hard time a little more bearable.

take care bear and hope things start to look up for you.  if you get a chance real my other post thanks
