plus i think the credits thing is an awesome idea, cant wait to see how it works as an idea, it seems to be a very interesting concept ^,^

Well. I do lead a online community for five years right now, and one thing I found out is: Too many mods are not good at all.
The rewarding system does look good, but the only effect it has is that users are starting to spam as they want to level up.

As this is a professional forum meant to deliver service to the customers - a clear "no" form my side.

Also, I do see what you mean and was also one of my concerns.  However, if the majority would like a feature I see no reason not to oblige them.

lmao fem toy pets and dildo pets, that got my attention in my half asleep mentality.
i was sitting there thinking about the points system last night before bed and realized that it wouldnt be hard for someone if they really wanted it, to get into the site and mod their code just to make it look like they have tons of points >.> and spam would be hard to combat, but i think if there was a way to reward those loyal to the forum for time spent with active posting of legitimate material, that would be awesome

Assuming someone did hack into the site or managed to find an exploit (doubtful <_<) to buy hundreds of $100 credits, they still have to make it past me as I'd be the one issuing the actual code to get in-store credit.
They also have to have BB make the hundreds of toys they ordered using coupons only xD

Joking aside, I'd be much more worried if a hacker got into the site and implemented malicious script to record customer input...
However, thats very very unlikely.  Not going to go into to much detail, but there is quite extensive logging used to ensure that if there is a breach the authorities can be contacted and provided all relevant information regarding the hacker.


As for the spam part, yes it'll be quite annoying to deal with depending how the member base turns out but I think it can be well managed.  Worse comes to worse, we just pick trustable people to help manage spammers.

that is comforting to hear ^,^ it definately shows that you guys are trying to think of every step and possible issue that could arise.
like i said in an earlier post it would be awesome to see the points system in action and fully working.
